WhoRunPhilly2K Newsletter- The Difference
When I released the schedule at the beginning of the year for the list of WhoRunPhilly2K events for 2023 there was something called The Meet Up that I added which nobody probably knew what it was. So, in this Newsletter I will describe the 3 Key Differences between my regular “Tournaments” & “The Meet Up” that will separate it from one another.
The Meet Up:
Low Entry Fee ($5)- My Tournaments are $250 to Sign Up now. I started out at $5 & $10 to get in my Tournaments but over the years a lot of people might of got priced out. So with the Meet Up I am able to bring the Low Entry Fee back with still giving you pretty much what all my events involved such as Food, Entertainment, & Competitiveness.
Winner Stay On- This event is a Winner Stay On Format so if you really nice in NBA2K or Madden then you can run the room because somebody actually have to beat you off the Sticks.
Side Bet- You can Side Bet on the best Player in the Meet Up & Get Money with them Versus the Tournaments you wouldn’t be able to do that.
The Tournaments:
Cash Prize- There will always be a High payout for the Winner in the Tournaments ($1000 in July) Vs the Meet Up can vary with each game will go off the person you betting.
Bracket Format- This format gives you multiple advantages such as prediction of how many games straight you have to win to really Cash Out (2-3 games). Since you we be seeded with your opponents in this format you can see the straight path as clear as everyone else.
Buy Back- The Tournaments are single elimination which mean if you lose in your bracket you will be out the tournament simply. But with the Buy Back it will give you another chance to compete for the same Cash Prize with less players to beat then even when you first signed up. This is of course for a few.
This is just a list of a few advantages that each event offer but there are many more then this. Click this Link to Sign Up for any future event: www.whorunphilly2k.com/tournaments
